ROSE is currently hiring freelance team members for our day of coordination & event production / floral design teams for the 2025 event season in the Twin Cities, MN.

A little about us: ROSE is owned by me, Ray. You’ll be working closely alongside me & my team of creatives & party pros to produce weddings & events! We are a laid back, fun-forward crew who like to laugh & have a good time while working together to get the job done. We work hard to create beauty, foster memorable experiences for our clients, & put more joy into the world!

    JOB DETAILS

    • This position is for our event production & floral design team - you’ll be assisting with the process of executing an event design from start to finish. This may include both studio prep work and set ups / tear downs at various venues around the Twin Cities. We design primarily weddings, with the occasional variety of non-wedding events.

    • You’ll be helping to set up events from start to finish - tasks will include unloading, assisting with a variety of installations, creating sets, prepping & styling decor rentals, and floral design work.

    • This role may also include some studio prep work. Studio work takes place at our private design studio in Saint Paul. It may include a variety of hands on tasks such as unpacking & prepping flowers, washing containers, prepping decor/rental items, set building, construction of installations, and assisting with designing floral arrangements.

    • Floral design involvement will depend on experience. Floral work may be minimal for a new starter with no floral experience, but the right people will be trained in floral design. Experienced floral designers will have the opportunity to jump right in with our design team & begin learning the ROSE design approach & techniques for a hands on role in creating beautiful arrangements & installations..

    • You’ll get a feel for the behind the scenes production of weddings, learn the basics of event production, & get to work alongside our awesome team to bring to life magical events for our clients! 

    • This is a freelance position - team members will be joining on a seasonal contract labor, event-by-event basis only. This is not a permanent employment position & you will not be a permanent employee. However, our team members generally end up returning for multiple seasons & I do hope to find the right people who might want to stick around :)

    • On site event work will take place at various venues around the Twin Cities & beyond. Travel pay is always included for any locations 30 min. or more outside of Saint Paul. Studio prep work will take place at our design studio in Saint Paul.

    • Tear down assistance post-event may also be required. Tear down happens after an event ends, generally 1 hour long sometime between 10pm - 1am.

    • This job does require physical labor & a lot of lifting/unloading/assembly. It is not all playing with flowers & a lot of hard work goes into producing each of our events. You will get a workout :)

    • Specific dates will be needed- position will be filled depending on availability for needed dates.

    • Pay range starts at $20 - $35/hr+ for set ups, and $100 - $150+ for tear downs. Pay will be scaled up based on experience, with automatic raises each season that you return.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Must be local to the Twin Cities, MN.(we are based out of Saint Paul)

    • Must have availability for at least ~5 needed event set up dates during 2025 season (set ups vary but are generally 4-9 hours long).

    • Tear down availability not required for all team members, but preference may be given to those who do also have tear down availability. Tear down generally occurs sometime between 10pm - 1am after event ends & is typically 1 hour long.

    • Must have reliable transportation & ability to meet on site at various venues at specific times.

    • Due to the nature of event work, reliability & timeliness are a must.

    • Not a requirement for everyone, but extra perk if you’re comfortable driving a delivery van around the Twin Cities!

    • Must be able to be on your feet for stretches of 4 hours+. We do take breaks & eat meals as needed during longer days.

    • Must be able to lift 50 lbs+. There is a lot of loading & assembly of items that will require heavy lifting.

    • Must be comfortable working on a 20 ft. ladder or scissor lift. We design a lot of large scale hanging installations & spend a lot of time up in the air!

    • Must be comfortable working in a fast paced, sometimes noisy environment.

  • Our coordination team is made up of organized party loving pros who help our couples celebrate their wedding days by assisting to manage, orchestrate, and execute all the organizational details of an event from start to finish.

    We take a laid back, fun-forward approach to day of coordination, and aim to strike the right balance between executing all the nitty gritty event day details & keeping things running smoothly, and fostering a laid back, fun environment for our clients & their guests.

    We’re hiring experienced lead coordinators, as well as assistant coordinators of all experience levels!

    JOB DETAILS

    • This position is for our day of coordination team - you’ll be assisting with coordination for weddings & events across the Twin Cities.

    • A coordinator is the general point person for an event, and oversees all aspects of event execution to ensure all goes according to plan.

    • You’ll be facilitating all aspects of an event day from start to finish, including - managing & implementing the day of timeline, managing other vendors & set up details, being point of contact for the day & fielding questions from guests/vendors, assisting with event flow, tending to our couples & their guests, and overseeing end of event clean up.

    • You’ll also be helping with miscellaneous event set up tasks such as folding napkins, setting tables, moving chairs, putting out signage, etc.

    • We like to work as a team & always have 2 coordinators on site at each of our events.

    • The right person will be able to think quickly on their feet, manage high emotions & diffuse stressful situations, & be a good on the spot problem solver!

    • You’ll be responsible for fostering an environment of teamwork & a collaborative attitude in event execution. We value our relationships with vendor pals, and aim to take a collaborate approach to pulling off an event. You’ll be working alongside our floral & event production team, as well as various other vendor pals, to bring an event to life together!

    • This is a freelance position - team members will be joining on a seasonal contract labor, event-by-event basis only.     **We have a current need for lead planners who have at least 1 season of experience with wedding day coordination.

    • Must be local to the Twin Cities, MN.(we are based out of Saint Paul)

    • Must have availability for at least ~5 needed event dates during 2025 season (generally 12 hour days).

    • Must have reliable transportation & ability to meet on site at various venues at specific times.

    • Due to the high pressure nature of event work, reliability & timeliness are a must.

    • Must be able to be on your feet for long stretches over a 12 hour day. We do take breaks & eat meals as needed throughout the event. You will be provided with meals at most events!

    • Must be able to lift 50 lbs+. There may occasionally be some light loading / assembly of items.

    • Must be comfortable working in a fast paced, noisy environment.

    • A kindness first mindset, love for teamwork, & collaborative attitude is a must.
